Free Trial Certificates
With free trial certificates from AstraZeneca, eligible patients can obtain a 7-day supply of NEXIUM at their pharmacy.
- The certificate must be accompanied by a valid prescription and is valid for 7 capsules or oral suspension packets of NEXIUM. No substitutions permitted
- The certificate is for one-time use only. For all other prescriptions, the pharmacist must use the patient's primary method of payment with a new Rx number
- You will need to provide a second prescription based on your recommended therapy if you want to keep your patient on NEXIUM beyond the 7-day free starter period

The Purple Plus Savings Card
With the Purple Plus Savings Card, patients can save on their next 12 refills of NEXIUM at the pharmacy.*†‡
*Insured patients with a co-pay of $25 or less are not eligible for this offer.
†The card expires after 12 refills or 18 months after first use, whichever comes first.
- Eligible patients who also have commercial prescription drug coverage with a co-pay of more than $25, pay the first $25 of their co-pay, and the Purple Plus Savings Card covers up to the next $50 for each of their next 12 refills
- For eligible patients who do not have prescription drug coverage, the Purple Plus Savings Card will cover the first $50 of the cost for each of their next 12 refills of NEXIUM
- Eligible patients can receive their Purple Plus Savings Card directly from their physician when NEXIUM is prescribed or they can go to www.purplepill.com to print out a card. Each card will be pre-activated and ready to use at the pharmacy immediately.
‡ Eligibility: This offer is good for qualified customers for the purchase of at least a 30-day supply of NEXIUM and may not be used for any other product. This offer is good for the purchase of NEXIUM manufactured for AstraZeneca LP and lawfully purchased from an authorized retailer in the United States or its territories. This offer may not be combined with any other offer, including any coupon, discount, or prescription savings card program. It is void for mail order and is not valid for prescriptions purchased under Medicaid, Medicare, or similar state or federally funded health care programs and is void where prohibited by law, taxed, or restricted. For Massachusetts residents, this offer is not valid. Card must be presented along with a valid prescription for NEXIUM at the time of purchase. Patients who have prescription coverage with a co-pay exceeding $25 may receive up to $50 in savings on each refill for NEXIUM (up to 12 refills).
